History
- Began their operations in Bengaluru in 2000, and in September of that same year, they finished first residential project, "Shriram Shriranjani."
- In May 2011, the first residential project in Coimbatore, called "Vijaya Hyde Park," was finished.
- In September 2016, the first residential project in Vizag, "Panorama Hills – Block IV," was finished.
- Finished the first commercial project, "Shriram Gateway," and the residential project, "Shriram Temple Bells – Phases 1 & 2," in Chennai.
- Plotted development was initiated under the name "Shriram Earth." Under the DM model, the first plotted development project was started. The 20-acre Shriram Earth Mysore Road is situated off Mysore Road in Bengaluru.
- In 2021, it was listed as a public company on the NSE and BSE.
- In 2023 awarded with CRISIL A - Stable Credit Rating.
- Turned over almost 3,000 units/plots by 2024, setting a new record.

About Founder
Murali Malayappan is the chairman and managing director of Shriram Properties. Since he took over the company in 1997, it has expanded from a $500,000 business to a multimillion-dollar operation with around $4 billion in revenue in India. Malayappan is significantly responsible for the investments made by firms such as Walton Street Capital, Starwood Capital Group, and TPG Capital.
